Swedish Tank (CV90) almost collides with truck (must see)

That video would have been so much more awesome if the tank had hit the truck, honestly.

I mean, come on, everybody remembers that moonraker war in orbit. We could see it from the ground!
 
Stupid tank not stopping at the stop sign. They'd be in big ****ing trouble if it had collided killed/injured the driver.
 
If I was driving the truck and saw the tank bombing it towards the crossroad I think I'd stop rather than carry on :p Crazy truck driver tbh.

Crazy truck driver for thinking a vehicle would stop at a stop sign.
 
It's a moot point. The roads were slick with ice. The truck would have had a much larger stopping distance than the tank if it had hit the anchors instead. The truck prolly would have lost its centre of gravity and put itself on its side if it had tried to stop in time. I've seen it and its not pretty. Stupid bastard in the tank should have kept an eye out, there was another car coming behind the truck in the vid.

Because the driver in the tank hit the pivots, which are designed brake the tracks and spin the tank around in a pivot-like manner he probably saved it just in time. The tank has better braking than that of the truck and he still went for a slide even with 13 odd tonne behind him lol. I wonder what would have happened if he had gone for the laterals instead :(


anyway, it's a moot point. ****in lucky.
 
Uglier, takes longer to change volume, no go-to-beginning button. Old one wasn't broken so why change it?
 
The tank did hit the truck. It scraped the barrel cover of the turret off and left a nice mark on the truck as well. Pretty darn close if you ask me.

I've seen the vid before and what happened is that the communication system between the dude in the turret and the tower broke down (the cable to his helmet fell out) and they couldnt talk to each other. The guy in the turret had to scream on top of his lungs to get the driver to stop the thing :)

The guy who's filming is the Major, nice one :p
 
In regards to not noticing the stop-sign, may I point out its kind of not facing the right direction anyway.



That tank should have gunned it TBH, I mean, anyone who keeps going forward when they can clearly see an oncoming tank deserves to have their vehicle crushed.
