IS awesome!!!!....Best ever yet...Now even the chilldisch Phantom Menace makes sence. It's so joyfull and colorfull because everything was in semi-piece in that time of the republic. Clone wars was a little less childish and now the darkside has it's moment and you can really notice it.
I got to see it again and again...Go watch it. Great FX, some nice dialogue, heart-pimping-action,...everything you always dreamd about.
Go see it , what R you wainting for?...

Wrong forum.

Also I'm going to see it friday...possibly.

for lucal to learn that he can't direct, and that his dialouge is HORRIBLE.

"some nice dialouge"?!? Where? I'm sorry, but it wasn't present at all.

Action was good though, but it doesn't have anything on the original trilagy.

Are you blind or something? The saber fights in this were phenomenal, especially in comparison to the older ones where they would just try to stab eachother continuously.

Heart-pimping action. The best kind of action there is. Yeah, goin' to see it this Friday, hope it's really as good as you say it is.

it is...

And with dialogue I ment some nice lines...unNatural :)
Of course SW is not know for it's deep engroussing dialogues. And sometimes it goes to fast...And you start asking questions. How did they get there so fast?
How come this and that...
But it's a great movie...a really really great movie.

heart-pumping...Sorry typo

I just saw it, its great, sad though.

*sniffle*

Certainly has it's moments, but as has been stated pretty much everywhere 70% of the dialogue in the movie is pretty awful.

It's pretty evident that Lucas probably hasn't ever been in love himself too (either that or he isn't very good at relaying love to the viewer), because his portrayal of Padme and Anakins relationship always feels really akward and I don't think it's the actors fault because again the dialogue they had to work with was tripe.

Another thing that really bothered me was the reason for Anakin choosing to go over to the dark side... I mean he justified killing all the Jedi and numerous others at the command of the Emperor all because of the promise of saving one person?? Give me a break! There are many people I love very deeply and as much as I love them I would never consider doing what Anakin did with the hope of learning to save one persons life. Also with anakin switching from loving husband to evil sith lord once or twice in the movie he did seem to come accross as 'Mr Split Personality', which I didnt like too much. That whole bit could have been portrayed much better IMO...

Memorable moments in the movie are basically all the fights, so whether this lives up to the Star Wars brand as well as any of the old trilogy is debatable, but it's definitely better than the first two films in this particular trilogy.

What the **** was with that lava planet too, once Obi-Wan had cut off Anakins legs and he was laying on the hot rock he immediatley sets on fire, and yet when the Emperor arrives with a cloak that draped accross the floor he stands right next to Anakin, touches his head and doesn't even get burnt at all... very selective fire if you ask me!

I didn't like General Grevious at all if I'm being honest, he just felt really clumsy and did he have a cold or somethin?! He wasn't really fleshed out well enough either.. I mean was he a sith?? was he a jedi?? If he was a Sith why did he have green & blue lightsabers?

The whole execution of 'Order 66' could have possibly been dealt a bit better too... I mean:

Chancellor Palpatine: "execute order 66"

Random Clone: "yes sir!"

So theres this supposed 'Order 66', which the clones are fully aware of and it basically means they are supposed to turn on the Jedi and kill them and yet the Jedi aren't even aware of this order? C'mon!

The bit at the end with Padme dying and the medical bots saying she was dying but they didn't know why also left sort of going "uh huh...."

Why did Organa tell them to wipe the droids memories at the end too?

Sigh, for all the negative points about this movie I still enjoyed it very much and will definitley watch it again.

IMO it's a 8.2/10 flick... good, but could have been so much better.

Loved it.
I really didnt like anakin in the first two movies but i would follow him into battle now.
(Sounds sad but i was cheering him on when he was saying the jedi kids) :) (Yeah i know im messed up in the head, but i have always like vader and when anakin turns to the dark side it was awsome!)

I wouldn't say 70%, I'd say pretty much every interaction between Padme and Anakin were pretty bad though

The duels were definitely better than the old star wars films, but the space battles (Hoth too) were missing from the prequel 3. I always considered those to be the best parts of the movies. I do however like that we see more ground jedi action which partly makes up for it

Anakin's robe started on fire because he was sliding down towards the lava. Lava is hot enough that it can easily set fire to cloth that is mere inches away from it. The fire spread up his cloak and burned the shit out of him. After he started on fire he kinda scrambled up the rock a bit. When he stopped he was a decent distance away from the lava and Palpatine only went as far as his head, so his clothing wouldn't have started on fire.

I didn't like General Grevious at all if I'm being honest, he just felt really clumsy and did he have a cold or somethin?! He wasn't really fleshed out well enough either.. I mean was he a sith?? was he a jedi?? If he was a Sith why did he have green & blue lightsabers?

At first I was wondering how the hell he was coughing but it seems he was 1/2 droid 1/2 man because he had organs and you could see flesh behind his mask (his eyes). They didn't really define him much as an enemy, but he got the lightsabers from the jedi he's killed. He said that Anakin's and Obi Wan's would make a nice addition to his collection. So obviously they aren't the first lightsabers he's obtained.

C'mon!

The Jedi aren't directly connected with the training and overseeing of the clone army. I'd assume that when they made the clone army (Geonosis?) they has some kind of training that would have given the army knowledge of order 66 (By order of Dooku or whoever actually went to order the army).

The bit at the end with Padme dying and the medical bots saying she was dying but they didn't know why also left sort of going "uh huh...."

Yeah..they only said she had lost the will to live...I thought that was kinda weak. Who actually dies from that?

Why did Organa tell them to wipe the droids memories at the end too?

Just C-3PO's mind was wiped. This just keeps it consistent with 4,5 and 6. 3PO never made a single comment about what happened during the clone wars and certainly didn't act like he had been in much battle before. R2-D2 however. said that Obi Wan used to be his master in A New Hope.

Sigh, for all the negative points about this movie I still enjoyed it very much and will definitley watch it again.

IMO it's a 8.2/10 flick... good, but could have been so much better.

EDIT: There's kind already another thread on this. It's the "Seeing Episode 3 in 3 Hours" one.
