System Options Problems

Hi there

I have a slight problem! In speaking to a friend of mine, he suggested changing the video options on Hard Life 2 to stop me from getting lag on the game(single player). So I changed everything down to the lowest settings to improve the gameplay. Big Mistake. Now it is much slower and laggier than before!

I have tried playing around with the options but it makes no difference. I know I don't have anywhere near optimum system requirements, but if I could just get it back to how it was before that would be great.

I have a 1.83 ghz processor, with 1 Gig of Ram and a ATI Radeon X300 Graphics card.

Does anyone know the best configuration of the video options?

Sounds like a bug in the system.

-Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling?
-Whats your HD free space like?
-What DirectX are you using?
-You tried defragging your HD?(try last, takes ages!)

Medium settings should be fine.

ATI Radeon X300 Graphics card.

What Mb is it? If its below 128Mb, try it with one or two settings set to low. Also 640x480 helps a lot.
