design i did for a character, criticisms welcome

thought id post this here as i havent actually done much dwrawing lately, plus i wanna draw more in the manga style. I'll probally do a few more and post them here soon.

in a comic, i'd imagine Sythe as a ditsy blonde warrior type, who can bash the odd orc, and tend to her looks at the same time.

decent style. gonna add anymore characters in the same style?

i was thinking of making her have a cat as a sidekick (talking, of course) dunno why, just seems more "cute" that way. Anyway, i think the baddie she'll come across if i do a comic will be some sort of female demon (who also looks quite sexy at the same time, of course). Then after she beats the demon in a gruelling (but stylish) fight, she has a shower in a waterfall, and the cat goes to sleep (we only see her back )

anyway, what do you think of the above idea for a comic? do you like it, or would you do it differently?

(i wouldnt do a series of comics, becaus ei CANT BE ARSED tbh )

but all is not what it seems... im drawing the "second" stage now (e.g. from cute, harmless, inncoent demon to big, bad, evil, "wet your pants" kind fo demon )

*edit* just had a thought...

should this be the first stage of a Demon that sythe has to fight, or should it be what Sythe turns into when she's angry... Y'now, when someone pisses her off she grows wings and her sword gets HUGE, then she whips the other demons ass.... plus it would be inda ironic, having a Demon hunter who is a Demon herself (kinda like SO many other computer games and anime series, but hey )

I like it, It could be a good idea to work with your gradation, unless you are aiming for a hard style.

i dunno, ive just ALLWAYS wanted to call a character "sythe". dont ask me why.

and in relation to the boob thing, there are 2 types of anime/manga women. 1, small, but beutifully crafted breasts... and zed, huge melon breasts. thing is i kinda went in the middle :/ (yes, many breasts are drawn twice that size )

I'l just say this one thing which could be taken negatively, but is actually meant to be helpful. Draw lots of people, because I really think it could help with your skill. You show promise but certain parts don't add up. I know you must want to just draw lots of naked women But believe me, drawing pictures of real people helps with all your drawing (Not just people)to no end.

Still, although I'm not a fan of anime, manga and all that malarky, or for that matter the style of women you are drawing, I think they look pretty good

anyway, thats just a "cute" pose.

and i WILL do more drawing, but ive had lots of Homework recently. plus ive been watching anime and playing monkey island (damn its funny!). and soon i'll be playing the maerican closed WOW beta. and dont forget i haev lots of school. Hell, i dont even have enough time to play the sims 2. dammit, i wish i could slow down time....
