So Pc:G(US) has another world exclusive.
This "World Exclusive" has not been announced anywhere before. It's history holds one of the biggest franchises in pc gaming history behind it.

So now that im really bored, I'd figure we would all take a guess on what game it will be.
Remember,
-This game has never been announced. Alot of new games just have been announced. Alot of sequels & things just got released, so it probably wont be one of them. It holds one of the biggest franchises in Pc gaming history.

My Bets?
Starcraft 2.

Guys, we forget about Team Fortress 2 and Half-Life 3. Never under-estimate the power of Valve.

Unless "one of the biggest franchises" actually means "one of the 200 biggest franchises" this has to be Diablo 3. Why? It is in the cards that we get a sequel to this immensely popular game, and any other big blizzard-sequel would make my dreams (the ones not involving scantilly clad asian chicks) come true, which is not going to happen.

Command and Conquer certainly was a huge franchise, but it has lost momentum the last few years, and it would dissapoint me greatly if this was it.

It is not HL3. TF2 is announced.

It _could_ be CS2 but I very much doubt it.

Any unreal game is possible since nothing new has been announced for the PC lately and they do have a supposedly kickass engine in late development-stages.

Various sports and car games have big franchises behind them.

Star Wars is a behemoth in the world of franchises, but lucasarts have ok'd so much crap over the years that it is unlikely that a pc magazine would try to get us excited about something new in that direction (allthough tie-fighter 2 would be slightly arrousing)....

Why do people keep on thinking this?
Look, Blizzard is only overseeing the project and making out of game cutscenes(Which they already did btw), Give annoucments, the rest is Swingin Apes.

WoW they probably made a seperate team for already.
Blizzard is actually 2 companies, so they could work on D3 and Sc2.

hopefully tomb raider is dead ...dead and buried, never to see the light of day again ...I think I got the last tomb raider (angle of darkness or something like that) as part of my video card ...I remember reading a review while I was installing ..not 2 paragraphs into the review I hit the "cancel" button


seriously I'd rather the game was a new barbie title than Tomb raider (ok I'm exaggerating ...the newest BooBah game is a MUCH better game)

Do you have any idea how many copies Generals sold? It outsold Red Alert 2...

Renegade didn't generate fantastic sales, but it sold enough. The C&C name is still one of the biggest.

"momentum" is pretty much irrelevant. Is Starcraft one of the biggest franchises? Not been any releases there for a while. Diablo? Same again.

You say "Command and Conquer" to any gamer, they know what you're talking about. That's a bankable franchise.

C&C is a top 10 franchise.
