look at all these threads about how steam is slow or doesnt work or gets constant errors. im one of these people who has the same problem. i know its still new, but if this bs doesnt clear up in like a week then i think its safe to say that steam really sucks.

You know people really have to be patient. I know it's taking a very very very long time to get the system to run. When it does it works perfectly. I know I've been trying to get it to work for a couple of days. Finally got it to work last night and a little this morning. i've only tried regular half life I have yet to try CS or DOD Right now I'm downloading DOD.

if i actually even get steam to load up, which is rare, i cant play any games. sometimes i cant even get to the games tab. i get some stupid dll error or some other bs.

Same, but I am a patient person. I will wait to see how they resolve it.

90% of my Steam problems cleared up this morning... it is still a bit slow, but everything is working fine.

I got a good game of NS started by idling in a server until other people showed up... except for this one bastard who though the whole game revolved around him.
