Yes, in the latest Steam News Update Valve have given us some stuff to read about Team Fortress 2! Admittedly it isn't that much, but it is progress right![br]
Team Fortress 2 is really moving along in development. In fact, things have reached a point where people start getting pretty antsy around the office as we get closer and closer to the 6:00 p.m. playtest session. We will be sharing more information about TF2 over the next couple of months, and we'll make sure to point that out to people here. We've included an illustration of some of the TF2 characters here that is currently being used for the start-up screen for the game.

I guess they feel they should give us something... they don't really say much about anything though :D TF2 is moving along (well I take that for granted)... and a screenshot.
Ah well. Better than nothing :)

The illustration is nice on the other hand.
 
Does this mean we're having to wait for TF2 to be finished before Ep2 is released?

Next couple of months? ;( ;( They can't spend a couple on months just play testing it! Iced go up to Valve and make them release new vids or something. SOMETHING!!!! :( :(
 
Whatever, Valve. Just let me know when it's released and then I'll buy it.
 
Did they say anything about the new release date? I can't get steam online for another couple weeks.

Nobody is going to play this in 2007. If it were 1998 , maybe they would!

Maybe you can bring Gabe a cup of joe or something? :D They already have a Dunkin D downstairs though don't they? Probably a Starbucks. Well there goes that idea. ;(
 
No, they have some other coffee shop that I can't remember the name of downstairs. Not one of those "name brand" ones though. They're also right across the street from Bellevue Square Mall where there is more food and such there.

On the other hand, I won't be Valve's bitch ;)

I'm moving out to Redmond (about 5 mins away from Bellevue where Valve is) in August, so I may get the chance to play it again because of the delays... I doubt it, but we'll see.

Meh... I'm going to play this alone if it's just to experience a MP game with "different" character design.
 
At least we are getting news still that isn't about delays.
 
Valve must be a woman. They sure know how to tease.
 
Sweet pic, but too bad it doesn't really fit the desktop well for a wallpaper.
