It's not really just fluff any more when they play an integral part in unlocking new weapons.

Different people are working on maps any way, doubtlessly. So it's not like the release of new achievements is somehow interfering with other content being developed.

new video is obviously Medic. Heavy vid came out in Russian because the voice actor was Russian, Medic is German so voice actor will speak German... and the fact Valve are placing so much emphasis on him makes it more likely too.
