Team Fortress 2 Update Released

The rocket nerf sucks balls. Much of winning maps like Well and Granary depended on how quickly soldiers could rocket jump the center, and now we have barely enough ammo do do it. In a match the other night I only had 8 rockets left by the time the Well gates opened. Tf2 is already overly simple and an unnecessary dumming down like this only makes it less involved.
So making it so that you have to think about your ammunition stock instead of just spamming the **** out of your rockets is dumming [sic] down the game?

Getting to the point with full hp before the other team arrives adds to the level of teamplay required. This happens before the fighting starts and has nothing to do with thinking about ammo. The rocket change has also made the soldier considerably less desirable for certain maps/point - defending C on Gravelpit being a good example. This map is notorious for being biased in favour of the attacking team and now it's even eaiser. We were running out of ammo while defending the tower quickly before the change, now it's silly.

Soldier is my favourite class, it's what I play in clan matches, and now it's a little less interesting for seemingly no good reason.
 
It makes dispensors more important, adding to the level of teamplay required.
 
It's just a shame that engineers are rarely used in clan matches. Also, dispensors are very rarely any where near a soldier.

Then find an engineer. Or find a dispenser. Or communicate with your engineer to get your team a dispenser where it is closest. That's what team play is about. Spamming, and the things you've described, is not team play, and it requires a lot less thought. Soldier was only 'desirable' because people didn't have to think.
 
Of course it's teamplay. Try getting a demoman and a couple of soldiers to the center point very quickly with full health - it's very tough on the medic and those rocket/nade jumping have to make it easier for him while still being quicker than the other team. I'm talking match situations here rather than publics btw. On maps like Well and Granary having a engineer at all means a loss and on the few maps they are used, the sentry/dispensor is in a fixed spot and doesn't move. Also I completely disagree about soldiers being a no brainer class, quite the opposite - they are one of the most versatile and demanding classes to play. Anyone can run about and spam rockets, but when you're leading the charge in a match and have to punch a hole in the defense, or rocket jump well (most people who think they can do this can't for shit), it's a completely different game.
 
I've been experiencing this extremely frustrating bug ever since the update where I can't uncloak as a Spy. Right clicking does absolutely nothing, and I have to wait for the bar to drain ALL THE WAY DOWN. This is most irritating when I find myself behind an enemy's back or next to a building.

Luckily it's not there 100%, it seems to come and go.
