All of this Source Code business is very sad day for them. *sigh*

5 years work and people can download it in 10 mins. What does the future hold for us now...

I think we should all show our support by letting Valve know that we will not download this game like this, even if it somehow gets easily excessable... I for one, want to back valve up on this even though they did betray us

I just watched on_top_of_the_rock.zip the 236 Mbyte Video from the Alcatraz event. Gabe was speaking there. And his face was so sad and his voice sounded like crying in the next second (no, he didn't but his voice sounded like that). He also began his speech with talking about a bad week with the delay... I really wonder what really happened behind the scene. Gabe looked very very sad to me and I feel there are bigger and bad things happening the the background. This is a multi-million $ business. So there could be EVERYTHING happening in the background.

I wish Valve good luck and a good ending to all this.

What are you talkin about betraying us?? Still whining about release date? Grow up they wouldnt have delayed it if it didnt need it. Its not finished, they dont wanna put out a undone product. Many companys do put out un-done products but valve is doing otherwise trying to make it sure its done and good as possible. The only betrayl here is you betraying valve.

there are over 50000 poeple right now got the source engine around the global and most of them are members in these forums, then tell me dude how we are going to help valve? (by keeping the source engine in our HD or by ...you tell me).

Cant really do shit best thing is give them support and dont bitch and say "omg they betrayed us boo-hooo" if they delay it. If i was valve i would send out a message that anyone that has the leaked source code could be tooken to court. This could scare most off even if it was bs they could just say it and most would buy it.

Well to be honest with you I asked for links where to download it from and a member replyed by efnet, I went there I could not find the link but I am sure its there. Means I do not have the engine on my HD and I am not willing to get it.

I really feel sorry for Valve. No company deserves this happening to them. It affects both Valve and all of us, since it will probably be delayed even more now...
