BIG problem. i have 80gb hard drive with 75% free, 756mb of RAM, Radeon 9800 PRO.I set the settings in the catalyst and in the game. played it one night fine for 60 minutes, next night- no good. and if i reset the settings to the way it worked for me, immediatly in game- they act like they are wrong, and if i exit the game - they RESET THEMSELVES to this level.
In game- everything is on high like the preference wants, except
Anti and Filtering changes. They were set on NONE, and Trilinear. If i exit, they change back to 4x each BY THEM SELVES!!.
the display setting also changes from 1024 x.... to 1280 x ..... wtf. also they graphics are very choppy - as well as the sound.
i have the latest graphics driver. catalyst, sound card driver, chipset, chip set utility setup, i have defragged my drive. In the catalyst - AA/AF are set to app. preference. and the others are set to on. I have read thru forums and ati - and set these to what everyone is saying is the best. It worked fine for one night. First - i dont know how if it worked fine one night, the next night it wont on the same settings, and 2ndly - how on earth the settings with reset just by exiting the game(and yes- i click "apply" and "ok" when prompted to save.
PLEASEEEEEEE some one help. im in desperate need.
