Terminator 3 -The Pc Game

IGN gave it a 3.2. I played the demo, too, sucktastic. Although, I kinda liked the machine gun.. lol

Never heard of it.

But you already know how much I hate movie/game spinoffs.

The Demo was the worst freakin thing I have ever seen. Theres like a flying skull with wings and lazers, and you fight in some sort of courtyard. Well the court yard was the only part of the map I say, cause T3 got the fastest uninstall I have ever done to a game. I played it for a grand total of 30 seconds.

I thought they woudn't actually release it.

I mean, ETM was already a stain in Atari. And now this...

ETM was a decent game, and it sold EXTREMELY well. I wouldn't call that a stain just because some reviewers didn't like it.

Now T3 just plain blows.

Why would they try and make a game when they know the games they make really suck. Terminator 3 in a joke in FPS shooters. I would rather play pac man for 48 hours than spend 5 playing t3

I only think it sold well because firstly it was multi-platformed and secondly it was the official Matrix game. I played it on my brothers computer (cos i couldnt be bothered switching discs 4 times) and i was so unimpressed by it - the environments were bland, the textures unimaginative and the way they ran, my go that was annoying! Like they are trying to tab someone with their hands!

I thought ETM was gonna change the trend of movie games being completely crap, but it didn't. Seems like this Terminator game has continued the trend :(

On topic: I just got me the Terminator 3 dvd and on the second disk there are ofcourse alot of backstage shit. And they were talking about the game and it looked so freaking good. And then I downloaded the demo. wtf? The demo is nothing like what they were talking about on the dvd.

Has anyone played the sp part on the T3 game? That was what they showed off on the dvd and it looked really cool. Nothing like mp demo.

Most movie studios still see games as simlply interactive toys for kids. They just want to make them quick and produce hundreds of thousands of em and get them on store shelves soon after a movie's released in either theatres or DVD.

The movie guys say, "So you people can make a game like that Half-Life 2 thingy I've heard about, you know where you can shoot different thingies and walk around in and out of buildings and stuff, like you're actually looking through the Terminator's eyes?". Game developers ,"Of course we can, it'll be cheap and quick to develop like you want it, and most likely sucky too."

now, the two towers and return of the king, thats the way to make a video game from a movie.

Sp Pc is the same thing but with bots.
Now on PS2/Xbox its a little better since its from the T3 movie instead of the T-war like on the PC.
