Terminator 4

Theres gonna be a number 4? With the Rock?
Boo.

Rofl!

I may just watch it for the comedy like i did with the others, Arnie talking in robot talk:

'WE. NEED. NEW. VEHICLE.'

Yeah I saw something about the SCC, but I didn't see what it was truely about...I kind of want to watch it... \=

No Arnold, no terminator. End of story.

Well they don't seem to think so...

There were conflicting reports as to whether Arnold Schwarzenegger (who is currently the governor of California) would return. Some sources said he would return for the next installment, while others said he would not. On October 24, 2006, Andy Vajna hinted in an interview that the role of the character portrayed by Schwarzenegger would be discontinued, and "a new and more interesting character will take its place."

No I meant the movie would just not be "terminator" without Arnie. It would lose all its soul. Sure the producers would milk the franchise using another lead, if needed. Why wouldn't they?

After Terminator 3, I could really care less about another one.

T3 pretty much shat on the original storyline.

I thought it was pretty decent, came together really well at the end. Don't know what to think of this though.

T1 and T2 were very decent, T3 just took it beyond the line

T3 wasn't so bad. Not as good as the originals, but not that bad. Was nice to see SkyNet take control and all of the chaos begin.

Doubt this will be as good as the others at all. Nothing else they can really do with this than show how the war against machine and man may have ended. I'll probably still watch it though :P

T3 totally killed it for me i liked the first 2 but the third was awful.Just Hollywood trying to make a quick buck

T3 destroyed the whole point of T2(no fate but what we make).

T3 was horrible

and

done,no more is need, absolute proof that movie will suck

Arnold doesn't need to be a lead or main character in a T4, if he was it would go entirely against how the future was portrayed in the previous movies.

He does however need to be at least a minor character, in some scenes, like flashbacks/dreams, when he gets sent back for T1 and T2, then the "infiltrator" and/or to (try to) assassinate John.

Not having him at all wouldn't be good for the movie.

T3 destroyed the whole point of T2(no fate but what we make).

And dosent it invalidate T1 too? I mean with the "new" way Skynet works (based on many, many computers across the world, rather than a centralised core in Cheyanne Mountain) make the human victory of T1 an impossiblity (as there could be no "final assault" on the control centre, as it simply did not/will not exist)?

I don't think so. The nuclear war would have destroyed the "new" way Skynet worked, automatically reverting back to the "old" way. All home and business computers/servers/etc. would be destroyed or at least not usable, leaving just a couple heavily protected computers (in NORAD, and other bunkers or secret locations).

Whoever made t3 should be banned from life for changing John Connor from a 10 yr old atm hacking rebel future leader of mankind into a useless moron who cant even grasp the fact that its not the same terminator that saved him in T2.

I thought this one that came out a couple years ago was T4.

I enjoyed watching T3, though it did screw over everything about the story...so screw it.

I'll watch it for the exploshens, but forget the story.

# Terminator 4, opening movie/expected in 2008.

* There were conflicting reports as to whether Arnold Schwarzenegger (who is currently the governor of California) would return. Some sources said he would return for the next installment[1], while others said he would not.[2] On October 24, 2006, Andy Vajna hinted in an interview [3] that the role of the character portrayed by Schwarzenegger would be discontinued, and "a new and more interesting character will take its place."
* According to an interview on February 1st, 2005, Nick Stahl and Claire Danes will not be returning for Terminator 4.
* Edward Furlong said that he feels he let many fans down by not being in Terminator 3. He is currently talking to producers and hopes to return as the original John Connor in Terminator 4.
* This installment will be distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, which owns the rights to the original film.

If they cut out Arnie they might as well drown themselves.

I really liked T1 and T2, (especially T2). T3 wasn't terrible, but certainly a let-down.

Agreed. But getting rid of Arnie will be a good thing imo. I expect a, "Come with me if you want to life!" Sort of thing...then Connor is like, "Wait a minute....you're not the same one!"
