Well It's been a while since I've used terragen, just dled it again today. Was following a tutorial, but the picture I ended up with doesn't look anything like the tutorials version..heh.

Anyways heres the info on it.
466599 Quadrilaterals (whatever the hell that means)
Render time - 1 hour 55 minutes

Sorry about the filesize..don't have anything to convert it to jpg with.

I realize this looks like shit, but after sitting at my comp for 2 hours waiting for it to render...I had to do something with it.

the water has too much reflection, it needs some waves. looks like its frozen over in a weird totally transparant way. looks good though, there are some pretty amazing things terragen can do.

Ya, it's supposed to be ice..heh. I'll check and see if it looks better with unfrozen water.

also.. make sure the snow level texture (i forget what terragen calls them) is a bit higher than sea level.

I have the snow at 900 m and above. But I suck at making mountains..so I didn;t even bother. My mountains always come off as about 30 m wide and 300 tall.

paint shop pro, the poor persons choice is free to download the shareware version.. Nobody has an excuse for not compressing jpeg's, there's lots of ways to do it www.google.com

Ya I know. It was like 1 in the morning, was to damn tired to bother looking for anything.

It's boring. Terragen's a toy...if you want to get into this stuff get a real package. ;)

I used terragen for awhile... got pretty decent at it... I once knew this guy who lived in israel, but born in the UK. He was like the KING of terragen ever! He got me into the whole thing :p

Bryce is probably one of the easiest and best landscapers I know of, does great glass and water too.
