TF 2 - Engine Error

Guys, I've been having a weird problem.

I hadn't played TF for a while, so the other day I did it. THe game updated itself and I started playing. But after being on any server for a couple of minutes, the game crashes and this engine error comes up:

The same thing happens over and over again with different models, sometimes it says "player/soldier.mdl" and so on.

If anyone knows how to fix it, I would really appreciate it.

Na, but seriously. I used to get an engine error a while back, different than that.
I'm not sure how to fix it, try asking for help at Steampowered.com

That's a crazy error.

I'll go with the standard responces: Verify your cache files, Update your graphics drivers and take a look around at https://support.steampowered.com/

Verify your TF2 files first, right click TF2, properties, files tab, verify integrity of game cache.

That's a fairly odd error I've not seen before, so it's necessary to ask if you are using a legitimate version of the game so we can help you.
