Noticed the engineer had to wrench his sentry a few times to upgrade it, and he was getting resupplied by the dispenser with a blue beam like the medic's heal beam.
Remember how much damage he was taking? Red heavy got shot a couple times, probably killed that person. Blue heavy ran away after he took a direct hit from a grenade, so they cant be half-invulnerable while being healed.
And you CAN kill the medic, I'm guessing people die quicker this time around, so either spy-cloak around and stab him in the back, land a few lucky rockets, grenade them (if a heavy runs when he's exploded what chance does a medic have?), scout sprint-around and baseball batinate, and/or or use brute force.
Meh. Looks nice, but seems like it's more of a public game than competion. The clan I was in quit DoD:s and started to wait for TF2 (the clan played TF, back in Quake 1 days). I really do hope that the amount of classes won't ruin the competive side...
Team Fortress Classic was insanely competitive, you had to learn to bunny hop, rocket jump, conc jump, etc etc. So many skills set the pros apart from the newbies. But from the look of things valve is trying to be newb friendly, 'dumbing down' the game, it doesn't bother me, I never was competitive, I just play in pubs and have a little fun.
