Thank you Cs:s, I didn't want to use my pc anyway

Pre-loaded Cs:S, updated, went to play and got loads of different errors when joining a game. I thought a restart wud help.

Now pc won't load windows! It just freezes after the xp logo and my monitor turns off. Any Help would be appreciated.

PC Specs:

Athlon XP 2600+
1gb 2700 RAM
ATI 9600XT
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 Beta
ATI 4.9 Beta Cats
A-bit nf7-s Mobo

I've noticed something similar. Whenever I warm boot my PC it will get to the login screen, then when I log in it freezes up and my harddrive starts to thrash like crazy.

I'm not impressed.

I think my problem may be caused by my 4.9 catalyst drivers, i'll check it out, but it's cs:s causing the problem really, but i'll try rolling back.

Hmmm, it seems my pc doesn't want to load windows when ANY ATI drivers are loaded. I uninstalled and can start windows normally, but I've tried with 4.8 and 4.9b and both make windows not wanna load. Time for 4.7. brb
