I just finished Ep.1 for the second time, and it's absolute brilliance concentrated. Alyx, the set peices, combat, digital purchase and delivery, new and improved HDR commentary tracks. . . . just wow. Well worth the pittance of admission.

I know the Valve guys browse the forums here, and I just wanna say thank you for making such an awesome game universe to play in. You've got a fan in me for life.

Agreed. But I still feel a bit ripped off...it was just so short and I don't really feel any need to play through it more than 3 times, I know it's worth the price...but I don't feel it was.

No-one should play the game first through with commentary! It ruins it in a way... you know, ruins the immersion by having Gabe Newell talking over your snazzy intro and floaty speech bubbles everywhere

I must say that the commentary is the best I've sat through though. True, there's pretty much this, Lost Coast and Riddick, but it edges it over Vin Diesel's Happy House by being a lot better rehearsed. I'm sure Riddick packs more information in, but some of the commentaries are about 20 minutes EACH!!!

I normally don't like things with commentary, like in DVDs, but I have to say this certainly was worth playing again and listening to commentary. You could start and stop them. Just in case say, a swarm of antlions come in, and you can't hear wtf Robin Walker is talking about...
