Christ, thought that actually WAS a Giger picture then. Very nice work, although personally I dont like the sleepy looking skull in the middle. :p

Great thread. At many times throughout my day on these forums, the art section has been carried on TDE's shoulders. About time we payed tribute to him. Seriously, TDE, hats off to you and your artwork, you have inspired many.

Ack, sorry guys but I honestly don't think this thread should be left open. I know you mean well and its appreciated, it really is... but well, if I was still a mod and someone did this for someone else. I would have closed it and said it should be done in PM and not warrant a new thread.. so really its only fair the same applies to me now too.

I ment in a completely child safe, non-sexual, boring way, all i was stating was that it could be your helmet that has the 2 naked women stuck to it.

well I didn't mean your post for the reason to close it. I meant the whole making out like if it wasn't for me the art section would be dead. I don't post half as much in there with new work as other people do. I haven't posted tutorials like other people do. Yeah the contest/showcase thing was my idea but even then Zerimski set all that up.

I think you've misunderstood me, i was just making a joke that that could be a self portrait. I didn't mean to discredit your work or your dedication to the art forum or anything ;(, i haven't even been in the art forum for 3 weeks ;(

yeah, well im the one that said that so im sorry if that made you uncomfortable... :P I meant pre-showcase forums (quite awhile ago) and such. Once you were one of the only ones who wasent doing stick men :laugh: You in other words - inspired us to get our shit together.

Ok, i think something gone right over my head as i have no idea what you're talking about then. Have i offended you in anyway, in the past, present or future, that you might think i don't like your artwork or your dedication to the art world?

edit: oh, you idiot tde, now i know what you've done...and here i was feeling sad that i thought i had offended someone :(.

naa nobody offended me, as supremePain said, just made me a little uncomfortable. Especially considering it was Evil, D33 and the half-park guy who originally inspired me to start posting piccies after seeing the posts they made

can't remember what pictures evil and D33's were now though heh sorry you two :)

erk god no lol. I went there once, doing the southpark style ones years back, its fun for like 2 minutes then it just takes over and you never get a break. Characterures I've never done and being cartoonish probably not very good at. You wanna ask one of the cartoon artists instead, they'd do a better job I reckon.
