Many people are dissapointed with the ending because it left so many loose ends, but the one thing I was most concerned with... WTF was Barney talking about with that cat? Anything in Raising the Bar about it?

That's what I gathered. I just couldn't help but think about the teleportation scene in Galaxy Quest when they started talking about the unfortunate cat.

But I'd have to guess it didn't explode. I dont think Barney would be so creeped out about that. It probably came back... transformed and alive. Even if not for long.

i thought about that when they first said it in the game

and when they teleported that pig beast thing, and it was inside-out when it arrived... that's probably what happened to the cat!
