I'm living with my friend ATM and he's got this buddy who always seems to forget stuff here. When he comes by to "get something", like his work clothes( second time he's forgotten them BTW) he always ends up staying like 2 days. His excuse this time was he couldn't get a ride home on tuesday...and i guess the bus is just too inconvenient, so that totally justifies spending the next 48 hours in our apartment.

Don't get me wrong, he is a nice guy. BUT ****ING LEAVE ALREADY!!!

Any of u guys have this problem?

I hate people like that. My sister's old boyfriend would be at my house when I got home from school, and you know having a room by yourself is a great thing, the seclusion and the like. But I would get home from school and walk into my room, and he is there either on my computer or watching TV on my bed.. ****ing bum he was.

Passworded my computer and hid my remote. That did him in! :D

I ask for advice that's semi-related to the topic.

My grand-parents want me to ear dinner with them on Saturday evening. What do I say? It's a 5 o'clock so it's too early to say I'm going toi a party.

we had a kid in highschool...he was the biggest loser I've ever met but mainly super annoying.

Nobody would talk to him so he'd catch you when you couldn't leave (like in the shower, or on the toilet) and he'd talk to you then. He'd say something like, "Hey have you seen that movie __________?" and it's a double edged sword, because if you say "no" then he'd explain it to you and then talk about what he wanted to or if you said "yes" then he'd talk to you about it.

But basically, it became a game to have him follow you into somebody's room (we lived in a dorm) and then you would try and leave and have him stay. It was really awful, especially when he was in your room.

Me and my friend live in a one bedroom apartment. So the living room is basically my room, the rent here is dirt cheap and i actually get much more privacy here then i did living with my parents. Except of course when this guy comes over. It would be great if i could hide in my own room or something but unfortunately i don't have that luxury.

And he's kind of an idiot, last night he was watching E entertainment and heard that this chick from high school musical had nude pics on the internet. So he's like "Damn i gotsta see those" so he goes onto my computer and downloads this shady 4mb porn torrent which im sure has virus potential. And opens it even after i asked him not too..WTF. Luckily it was a zip file and he's completely computer illiterate.

Where does this guy think viruses come from?

yeah, I had something like that, I pretty much had to tell him point blank to get the hell out

My friend's roomate's girlfriend just decides to let herself into their apartment whenever she wants. Even if NOBODY is there, she will just go in and watch tv or something.

My friend told her a few days ago to gtfo and stay out when nobody is there. I lol'd.

Tell them that you're too cool to be seen in public with anyone in your family.

Unless you have something really cool planned, just bite the bullet and eat dinner with them. It will probably make them super happy and you can say you made plans with friends at 7pm or something.

Trust me, youll miss them when they are gone( unless they are total assholes).

Wow you guys are really nice to your friends, letting them come over uninvited to your homes for several days at a time and use your computers without asking. I would put a password on the computer if I were you so that he can't use it.

Meh, it really depends on the person. Certain people drive me nuts that come over, but others are welcome to stay as long as they want, eat my food and/or use my comp. I'm really laid back with that stuff.

The only thing I'm really weird over letting people borrow, is my car.

Definitely, there are several people who i would be happy to have over for an extended period of time, but this guy isn't one of them. He was only supossed to come over for an hour or 2. He's been here for two freaking days. He's nice, but kind of annoying. He goes on and on about shit i don't really care about, is kind of a hick etc and really isn't making an effort to leave.

Last night he gave me the impression that he was going to leave this morning. It's 130PM and he's still asleep, when he did wake up he looked around and turned on the TV and fell back to sleep. Me and my roommate have been giving him hints for 2 days that we don't want him here anymore but they don't seem to be getting through.

Just make something up that will force him to leave.

Does he stay even when you're both out?

If not, tell him that you and your roomate are going somewhere, and you need to lock up for a few hours. If he says he'll just stay, then cockslap him and tell him to gtfo.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll do that.

what about hiding rotten fishes in strategically places so everyone is forced to leave by the smell?

How about insisting that everyone take a close look at your Prince Albert?

Oh boy, funny story on this. We had a guy that was a good friend. He would come over, and hang out, play some video games with me, and just chill. Well, he started coming over at midnight, and staying the night in my bed. So I would wake him up when I wanted to sleep, and he'd go crash in the living room...then he started eating here, sleeping on the couch constantly, and his clothes kind of piled in teh corner. It was getting gross. So what happened was one day, he went to work. We moved his shit back into his place *YES he was living with us, while paying rent at the other apartment.* and he came home and was like "What's...up?" "Oh, we moved your stuff back to your place." Never really saw him again.

hahaha, It looks like no one has been showing respect to any of you. This would never happen to me, if it comes down to it, i would kick the shit out of him and boot him out of the door.

I would more or less offer my mates a drink or something from the fridge, and the only time they sleep over is when we book a few hotel rooms.

We'd rather sleep in our own homes, best place to be :p

I was that guy!

Years ago I got kicked out of university, had a huge falling out with my parents and was kicked out the house. For a little over a year I was sleeping on friends bedrooms floors and drifting from university campus to university campus. Most of these people were dear friends and were very welcoming, but i'm sure some were a little put out by the smelly guy hanging around the house. tbh it was probably the best time of my life and i'm not sorry, so ner! :p

how about "get the **** out of my apartment?"

You guys don't understand, him and my flatmate go WAAAYYY back. I can't just say GTFO, I expect him to, lol. Plus, he always gives u the impression that he has a lot going on and is going to leave pretty soon and the next thing you know he's been there for two days. He left yesterday, on his own accord, but there is no way we were going to let him spend another night.

And there is no way in hell we're going to let him come back here.

You banned him from your house? Thats a little extreme. Just tell him he cant stay over night anymore.

I personally think he is an idiot and don't enjoy his company....

We havn't banned him, we're just going to be very busy every time he calls over the next few weeks.
