This is a drawing of a rugby player tripping over as he runs along the field.

Anything to say?

Well originally he was meant to be tripping over another player but I ran out of room. And secondly his hand is upside down, of course it's gonna look strange.

It looked small, compared to his arm

/me tries to bend his fingers the way the freak rugby player is doing...and fails

Yeah the fingers, even if they look like that inreal it looks kinda wierdo :(

I think you would need to do a whole lot more then dislocate our arm to do that, it looks like the whole of his wrist has snapped and twisted round.

The best mistake an artist can make is mess up on a drawing and learn from it. The worst mistake an artist can make is refuse to accept critism. Once you realize if someone says a part of your drawing is off, he's probably right, you'll improve much faster. If you came here to look for compliments you came to the wrong place. This is a place for artists to help each other.

With that in mind, here is my criticism:

Your line quality needs work. Most of the time your lines seem wiggly or unsure. The hand indeed needs a lot of work. The thumb is way too big and curved, the fingers are spaced apart oddly. The nose is a bit simplistic. Noses don't really have dark outlines. Overall, you could have done more work on the shading as well. And I'm not sure why, but on your drawings you always have dark smudges.

Lol, it's true, you're all right, the arm is screwed and yes, I did try to cover up by saying his arm is twisted when really I'm too lazy to do any better and TheSomeone as always thanks for the constructive critism!

I'll post something of a higher standard soon..

Now that you admit to your mistake, I can also compliment you :) ( I actually witheld myself from doing so, I study behavioral sciences :) in my spare time ). It isn't that bad a drawing, you still have a concept of shapes. Just work on it and keep drawing.

Yea his right arm is all messed up. I wouldn't recomend putting it in that position. It just doesn't look right.
