That stupid pics.zip MSN virus

Anyone know a solution to get rid of this?

Someone else using my computer accepted the damn thing and now its spreading across to my contacts.

Download Ad-Aware 2007 and run it. I am not 100% certain this is a virus. Inform people that you have had this and tell them to check themselves.

Go back in time and don't use MSN. That's what I did. I stopped using MSN and I didn't contract the virus.

Some person I met on ogame a long time ago contacted me. It said "Hey can you login to my facebook and put this pic on?" It displayed a .rar file too. My first thoughts were:

1. Why would I login to your personal site?
2. Why would I upload a pic?
3. I havn't talked to you in ages.
4. Why is the pic in a .rar?

Eventually I said I'm gonna block you and he scrambled on saying "don't do it!" He told me what it was and said it was a virus. :dozey: Good thing I didn't touch the file lol.

It seems this virus (or something else) has totally wrecked my computer. The little f*cker has covered all angles of getting rid of it.
