sure..unless of course, three months from now, they announce yet another delay...they have delayed this game what? 2-3 times now? another delay announcement at this time is not out of the question.

Yeah but the game is pretty much already done, and is just going through balancing and debugging now, I see no real reason why it should go past 2k6 in terms of release, neither do the developers according to what they've stated.

Keep in mind though that for a game with an as ambitious A.I. such as STALKER it can be quite a bit of work balancing it and debugging it, I mean, keep in mind, the A.I. stalkers in the game are capable of accepting just the same missions as you and even getting one of the -several- endings ahead of you, so I don't think you can quite compare it with say Elder Scroll IVs.

It's done from that point of view, and keep in mind, this delay, was total news to the devs, they hadn't even been notified that it had been "delayed" by THQ, the dev's don't pull the strings on the release sadly, the publishers do.
I really think THQ needs to give a green light to a MP beta tho, I think that'll definitely draw atleast a lil bit of attention, atleast if it's fun.
