I don't like it, like the old ones better

I like the retro styling, although it's probably not too good for aerodynamics :).

I love the new design. The interior is awesome.

Much better then these new-age car designs they are comming out with IMO

To me it seems to look a little more European, and it's an American car icon. I like the new look though in any case. I'm also sure they improved on all other aspects of the car.

any mustang before the one in that like I ABSOLUTELY HATED. I hate ford and most of their cars are cheap #$^ but the new car in yur link is amazing. Under $20, 000 with 300 hp is a definate plus in my side. Now i g2 figure out if i like it more than the impreza wrx sti.

I drive a 99 Cobra and have been following this new model for a while. As time passes and the more I look at it the more I start to fall in love with it. The only thing that kills the design is that ugly spoiler which doesn't fit the car in any way, shape, or form. I think the Cobra is due out in 06 or 07 so when that happens I might be in need of a new car :naughty:.

I agree with No Limit, I think I'd like the look if that ugly spoiler wasn't on there

The $20,000 will be the price tag for the v6 version. The GT will probably run you around $28,000, similar to the current models.

Yah, it kinda seems like the front end of the car was chopped off to a stub, then they put on the spoiler.

hmmm thats about the impreza now, i wonder what the new model for that is going to look like, same with the next evo

hmm...i'd have liked it better even if all they did was remove the fake air intakes. and they not only did that, but they changed the look so it doesn't look like a curvy box on wheels. 100% better looking imo...kinda throwbackish

I think the impreza is way over rated. Don't get me wrong, it is a sweet car, however, $35,000 for a new STi is a little much. The car doesn't have that sporty look people desire. I would also rather have a hard core v8 over a 4 banger that gets blown to its maximum capacity, I simply wouldn't feel safe with something like this knowing the warrenty will eventually expire. Again, I am not here to talk down on the WRX as I think its an amazing car. But I would rather take my $35,000 and invest it into something a little more "feature-rich".

Im so in love with it , if you see my avatar I drive a Ford Contour SVT , so Im kindof a Ford fanboy , but I am very much inlove with this car and the more I read the cooler it sounds. I want to read road tests in car magazines , and then Im going to test drive one as soon as I can. I am going to do all I can to afford one when they come out.

I didn't know exactly what the hell your avatar was. But now I do.

thats incorrect the BASE GT will be under 20k and the base v6 will be around 17.
the Cobras, will be out in '06. There isn't much public word on when the Bullet or the Machs will hit the market, or if the will hit.

Oh btw its nice to see somebody else thats into cars on here. I've got an '02 Firehawk

A lot of the the imports are way over hyped thanks to the media and video games. In reality most imports are 'slow' when it comes to racing in the 1/4 or 1/8 mile. The fastest I've ever seen a heavly moded wrx(cam, turbo, boost controller, etc) was 8.2 in 1/8 at the track I worked at. I run an 8.4 stock, add heads, cam, headers and I'm easily into the low 7's, or some nitrous but I prefer constant HP.

A firehawk owner huh, lets race :D. I love the firehawk, if you have some pictures I would love to see them.

The price will start at 20K but after all the taxes and dealer fees it will probably be around 25 - 28K. This is what I found out at the local dealer anyway, if you ever buy a car try to avoid New Mexico.

The 1/4 mile is the problem with the WRX and is one of the reasons I wouldn't touch it. I have a friend that has a 03 WRX with nothing major on it, only a turbo timer, I think, which doesn't do anything for performance. He beat me in a street race where we got to about 70; however, I beat him by about 2 car lenghts in the 1/4 mile. I haven't raced him from a roll yet so I will have to see how that works out. I also know many that will set their turbo at 18 psi and beat everyone they race, I am waiting to see the engine blow on those which happened to a friend who had an 91 MR2 that was running at 19 PSI without any eninge upgrades.

Yea, i like it a lot better than the previous version, it resembles the classic car more i think.

Never really been into US cars though, they kinda crappy y'know.

WOW now that is a mustang.. i used to love the old skool ones that were amazing.. all the new ones have been crap just look like any old car but ohh with that nice smooth old skool style its really really nice :D but i must admit i still think the old skool is better. mayb not in that colour but ahhg you get the picture :D they sound so nice :D

and that bike is amazing as well... hummm my dream to have one of each ahhhhhgg

I hate the previous mustang look...this is better in every way shape and form.

hell....i would actaully buy one of those...

I never really took a liking to the Mustang, It just looks kinda boxy to me

taxes and dealer fees shouldn't be over 2k. otherwise the dealer is sneaking some stuff in.

the WRX is king off the line with its AWD, and depending on what speed and how the turbo is set up on the WRX that may be the way add a little more distance on him. But if he's spooled up on the launch your displacement may not do much.

not a big fan of mustang styling in general, the new style doesnt ring my bell either. 60's mustangs looked good. price to performance ratio is excellent with mustangs. $2500 and you got yourself a nice 89 5L

its refreshing to see some classic muscle car and domestic fans what with all these economy car racer fanboys. fast cars have to sound loud and mean, like they're gonna tear your head off! they gotta scare hungry grizzly bears away RAWRRRRR no replacement for displacement baby!

-edit-
wooo that hawk is a big car! pretty sweet.
