Woot. I finally have a 360 Elite just a few days before GTA4. If it wasn't for GTA4 I wouldn't of bought one.

So did anybody else decide to take the plunge and buy a console to play GTA4?
 
Yes I did :( Bought a 360 for GTAIV as well...guilty. Luckily I got them together in a bundle at a great price...unluckily it doesn't arrive till the 2nd May D:
 
I asked for a 360 for Christmas because of GTA IV.
 
I bought the 360 in January in anticipation for this very game. So I was more prepared than all you bastards!
 
I bought the PS3+GTAIV bundle. (*hides from mob of 360 users*) Should come tomorrow. :D
 
I do hope so, if not Tue for definite, got dispatched by Parcel Force Friday.
 
I am going to be hugely jealous of any one who gets it early through legal means, i.e. no mistake of the shop or through piracy. Having said that, there is potential for me to get it early also as it was dispatched early yesterday. :E
 
Bought a 360 a week ago with CoD4. I wouldn't say I bought it for GTA4, but it was certainly the main incentive.
 
I just got my Pro. My only games are the Condemned 2 demo, the Bioshock demo, and the Burnout Paradise demo.

I can't wait.
 
My friend just bought an elite too for this game :D
 
I'm going to be grabbing a PS3 after the summer with this, MGS4, GT5, and LBP if it's out.

I downloaded the Burnout Paradise demo and the amount of unskippable interruptions by the DJ took the biscuit.

No biggie if it is. The other three and Age of Conan will be enough to satisfy me for a good amount of time.
 
I'll upgrade my PC [hardcore] for if/when it comes out for that platform. I want full graphics settings and high resolution and 59+ fps
 
I wish I was able to purchase a brand new Elite 360. I've wanted one of those since their inception. However, since I have a Wal-Mart that still gives me free Arcade 360s, I don't care as of yet.
 
If I get the job im applying for tomorrow, then I will get a PS3 and get GTA4. My friend has a 360 and ill be roomates with him so w/e. I heard the 360 version has some serious "pop-in" issues.

for the first time ever I'm tempted to get a console...but...I also know that once the initial wow factor have settled I'd probably regret the purchase and wonder why the **** I'd subject myself to the horrible controls on the console vs. PC(always liked the GTA games better on PC).... so I'm gonna stick it out and wait for the PC release I think...
 
Driving cars is better with a joypad than a keyboard tbh, thus joypad > keyboard for driving, but keyboard > joypad for aiming

Well, to be honest, I mostly want it to watch BluRay movies. They're taking up too much space on my hard drive.

Not that I download them... no no of course not. Where did you get that preposterous hypothesis? Did Steve tell you that perchance? Tsk, Steve.

I bought my 360 for GTA IV last year. As well as Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Rainbow Six Vegas and Forza 2.

Mostly GTA IV though but it didn't come out last year. ;(
 
I bought a PS3 this weekend for GTA. Thank you tax rebate check. Hitting up Blockbuster at midnight tonight to pick up my pre-order. Called off tuesday. Can't wait.

Same, wasn't too hyped actually leaving work, usually I run home like a school girl when something is due but after RM screwing me over countless amount of times (e.g. taking it to a depot 50 miles away instead of leaving it at local Office if no one signs) I've sort of learnt not to go crazy until its in my hands - and works!
 
Yah but I got a 46'' sharp aquos LCD tv & full surround sound, its gunna be SICK
 
I'm probably gettin' a 360 + GTA this week as well... not 'til like Wednesday night or Thursday, though.
