The battle for the lil Urn begins again today/tomorow depending where you live, what is everyones reckoning for it?

It's gonna be a tough series for England without Tresco, Simon Jones and Vaughny, but Flintoff as Captain gives us a nice edge. Also good to see Anderson back in action.

Though i must be honest and say i think the Aussies may just have enough to reclaim them as long as they stay injury free

OMG I was just about to make the very same thread. You may have one this battle! But the cup is certainly not yours! ... again.

Yeah, this should be a pretty good series, both sides have lost key players but if England has lost Vaughan then Englands batters are going to be decimated by Warnie and McGrath, who (according to the news and such) are at the top of their game atm!

I could say that you are going to get steamrolled... but that is what they said about it last time! So I guess we should just wait and see.

EDIT: Also, we arn't entirely injury free... one of our 'star bowlers' who the ACC were drawing from the Queensland team (confirm that) for the series tore his hamstring. He is going to be replaced by another bowler for the team... but I fail to remember who either of them are...

EDIT2: So it's lunch time on the first day of the first test... 1/109 isn't bad don't you think? Langers on a roll!
