Ok with the recent and popular bf2142 demo thread, there has been many opinions. Some people like it and will pre-order it. Some people hate it and may buy ET:QW. And some people may just sit on the sidelines and see which game is better. So this thread is to stop all the confusion and get a visual idea as to where the hl2.net bf community lies. It is also a place to argue your opinions instead of spamming up the other thread. Please vote for only one and please say what you voted for. Personally I like bf2142 more than bf2. But I like ET:QW a lot also. So I would have to say right now I'm just gonna have to wait for the reviews.

I'll wait for the reviews. The Bf2142 demo was alright, but I donno. QW looks pretty good too. Plus I'm somewhat concerned about certain trends in the Battlefield series. We'll see.

Seeing as how the BF2142 demo wouldn;t even work properly (and yes, my machine can run it easily) I see no reason to get it. After the abysmal mess with patching BF2, I think I've had enough of the Battlefield series. ET:QW looks interesting though. Personally I just want UT2k7

I'm going to wait for 2142 to hit the $20-30 price range...
If the demo's any indication of the final product, it'll be best to wait for it to get fixed up.(CONSTANT GOD DAMN SERVER DISCONNECTAGE! >_< )

But until then, I'm getting Quake Wars no matter what, I mean how can it possibly fail unless everything they've told/shown us is all fabricated bullshit?

Well both games have mechs and basically the same exact vehicles. I guess the only difference is that EQ:QW requires teamwork in the game to get to certain goals or hold off the enemy. But bf2142 has the rank system. Oh and there are the Strogs in QW. Has anybody even seen a video of QW?!?

Just QW for me. I might play the 2142 demo from time to time but I'm not crazy about most of the vehicles (mainly the air vehicles) so I don't see myself playing it much.

I'll be getting BF2142, reserving judgement on QW. I'm not sure how it'll run on my machine, for one (although D3 and Q4 ran fine); for two, I've never really been a fan of the Quake series, so I don't have an opinion on this game yet.
