I don't actually go out and think on whether I love or hate a specific avatar (although in the past some have been awful to my eyes)- I just find some more memorable than others.

It's interesting that you mentioned animation, because I can recognise CREMATOR666, Danimal and bliink from their avatars alone I guess that's the main reason for them...
