All warez sites, channels on irc, do not have the beta anymore. Not that it matters because hundreds of thousands have it but im assuming the Feds are getting involved.

Just 5 minutes ago I found it offered on IRC. There are about 2 dozen fully functional torrents still in action for it, it's all over USENET (and that's damn near impossible to get rid of), it's on eDonkey, Kazaa, Gnutella and Overnet, and I know of several FTPs that are still freely distributing it.
It's not being "advertised" the way it was anymore, but it's still out there and still easy to obtain if you know where to look. And if you don't know where to look you probably would never have found it in the first place.
Besides, they may feel like being hard asses over it right now but they can't keep that up forever. Id was totally pissed over the E3 alpha that got leaked and they cracked down on that at first too. In less than a month they got bored with being enforcers and let it go and today you can find it freely distributed on sites all over the place.
The HL2 beta sucks something massive anyway. The fun I had playing with the physics gun sure as hell wasn't worth the 2 hours it took to pull the thing off of an FTP.

Sorry, you're wrong. It's not being wiped off the net. No one's going to let that happen. I'm sure for every site that's taking it down 1-3 more FTPs will have it up. For the last few days, in IRC, I've seen people posting link after link to FTPs. The numbers have trippled since Tuesday.
Bittorrents have at least, the very least, quadrupled. And now with the Hl1+CS conversion, and CZ, thats even more that will be popping up. I'm not going to flame you because it just seems immature, but I will say that you need to elaborate and research before you make a post.
