the big aqua monsters

in one of those halflife2 blink videos it shows a huge aqua monster when you with alyx but why dont i get to fight him in the game?

It was cut from the game, I'm not trying to be nasty, but this topic is ANCIENT, but mabye you didn't see the other thread.

but why was it cut from the game and what chapter was the aqua monster suppose to be in?

It was cut because.... well I dont really know, but I think it was because it was impossible to use in the game, just think how would kill that thing? throw it in the ice tray?

You'll see where it was meant to be, the level was rearanged, but its just after (ONLY READ THIS IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE GAME)

It was cut, becuase it was no fun to fight.

Games get chopped and changed all the time, the 'hydra' as it was called was cut as samon said, it was crappy to fight, it just comes at you and you die. ITs only fun to watch. Along with that, that section of the game was editted, and you may recognise the part where theres a combine above you as a section near the end of nova prospekt. Games change their content alot. And next to please use the search, seriously 20 topics on this already, your lucky you havent got some serious flamage!
