The Big Question About LAN Partys: What To Eat!

Every month, me and five friends have a LAN party at my house. Now the big question about our LAN's is what to eat and drink. Now lately, we each have two 2 liter sodas, and yes we drink both before 6 hours in, and like 3 boxes of corn dogs with like 60 dogs! So heres a poll as to what you lanners out there like to eat and drink at your partys.

I like general junk food really. So crisps (Chips for you crazy Americans), pop (soda...) chocolate and sweets (not so much anymore...i think my sweet tooth was replaced by a filling).

I also like having yogurts, in particular muller fruit corner. Then there is Frijj e)(treme Thick fresh Chocolate milk

I would also have food such as pizza, curry, fried stuff like bacon...although not so much becaus ei dont really like to eat my meals in the computer room.

Nah, seriously, I've never been to a LAN party. The closest I got was playing Counter Strike in the freshmen dorms (in 1999, when it was still cool). Back then all we consumed was beer and cigarettes.

lol, we tried that once and had a major sugar rush and then crashed in the 6th hour or so.

I picked pizza and "Enegry drinks" . BAWLS has become a favorite of mine. It has like 3x the amount of caffeine as a normal soda, and it tastes really good.

Take what you have

I dont take a lot of food with me if i got to lans like Dreamhack or smaller ones with around 100 - 300 ppl, you got everything around you.

I bring food with me when its a small 6-10 person lan.

You have to learn how to eat at LANs. Before i wehnt through stuff like this

-Hey, are you hungry? We havent eat in like1 and a half day.
-yeah, maybe we should eat something.
*Me takes a look at his clock... 2 AM*
- umm... maybe we should wait a little...

Oh this is a proper lan party, not just a home thing? Well in that case, dont take so much food!

When i have them at home, i have all the crap, ive never been to a proper one.

I remember the year before last, my cousin brought his computer round and we ended up having 4 comps all networked and capable of most, then current, games...man that was fun.

Me and my buddies almost went to LAN party in Boston. Then we found out we couldn't bring beer. So we went the bars instead.

alcohol and nothing more. well maybe some kebabs and crisps and peanuts and general finger food. but whenever i've been to a lan party we've only eaten before we started and after we finished.
