i just wanted to know if anyone loves this movie as much as i do. i find that not too mant people know about this movie. one of the few movies i know of rated nc-17.

I had no idea it was rated NC-17. Weird, I don't really think it deserves that rating, I've seen R rated films that are definitely worse content wise.

But you're right, the movie is great. Certainly not a modern classic, but still a great movie.

I don't recall Boondock Saints having an NC-17 rating, at least not in the United States.

Either way, the movie was fairly good. I especially liked how the movie jumped back and forth from the crime scene to the actual crime.

I've seen the movie and while I think some parts were cool, I don't particularly like the movie as a whole. I felt that it wasn't very well made and just stupid at times.

it got cut in the states. if i remember right, its only when the saints are doing the actual killings, it goes into slo-mo, and you see the blood fly. pretty cool. i dont know your views on piracy and whatnot, but you can download that version if its your thing or there's a dvd from japan and germany(?) that has what i stated above, but that brings up the issue of multi region, and pal/ntsc!
