i've seen it.

Hmmm, I'm not so sure. They should've added some post-effects to sexin up the atmosphere a bit :/. It looks kind of like one of those straight to tv things like the Snow Princess or something similar.

The "Disney" part obviously puts me off also.

The Snow Queen? I loved that.. And Merlin. Very nicely done the both of them.

Which Merlin? The most recent one? Had some wooden acting (but fortunately the leads tended to be consistent) and an abrupt ending, but I guess it was okay...

This seems pretty promising (gah, that's my catchphrase these days regarding any damn media). I was raised on Narnia :D

That was a problem you know, left alone as a child with this bemused lion watching me...

The lion is called Aslan not Narnia :p

I own it, somewhat crappy version made by BBC a while ago. They also did the silver chair I think.

Oh TDE, you crack me up!

But in all seriousness, I really do feel like my parents did raise me on Narnia- one of the earliest books I ended up reading. They didn't force it on me (in fact, I don't think I've even read the whole series, at least not enough to remember them) but the Narnia books are one of my more memorable literary conquests.

All the more reason why I'll be angry if, unlikely as it may seem, they screw this up...

yeah, i'll be pissed if its screwed up too, i've been secretly looking forward to it, then forgot all about it.

Looks allright, never read the books and I doubt I ever will. Might be a good thing because I wont have that "It didnt include this, or it changed that" thing going on, look forward to seeing it.

I've read the books but I can't for the life of me remember what it was about.

Books were ace and the movie looks ace as well. Here's to hoping. The Snow queen/witch (can't remember exact name) looks different than I might have imagined, as one of the books I have has the pic from the BBC series so that image is sort of fixed in my mind when i think of her.

The Chronicles of Narnia
Fellowship of the Wardrobe

Seems like they've got caught up in the epic film theme. Still looks like it'l be fun.

Music was lame - should be similar to lotr. Aslan didnt look that magnificant either but other than that looks pretty good.
