The story and dialogue will probably just get drowned out by the extreme metal soundtrack. Also, Vin Diesel monogues are perfect enough thank you.

Yeah this. The original was one of the better looking games of it's time on xbox. Played the PC version myself and loved it, although the aliens pissed me off tbh.

Seems like it would make sense to remake and package the original game with Assault On Dark Athena for those who missed out on the original game and want to play it instead of starting straight off on Dark Athena without knowing what happened before that.

It's the same engine they used in The Darkness, which I think was a heavily modified version of Butcher Bay's engine.
