Hey, there's nothing wrong with huge special effects. It's just that it's so over-hyped that you have to ground yourself and see what it really is. All this political talk about the themes of the movie are making it seem more than it is -- a mindless special effects explosion. The themes are simply there to give the crew an excuse to drown New York, not vice versa.
