Seeing it either tonight or tomorrow night and I can't ****ing wait.

Anyone else see it yet?

Ah, this that remake of Infernal Affairs. I've heard not-so-good things, and I really liked the original...

From the movie stickie:

The Departed 10/10

Leo and Jack give awesome performances with some of the best lines in gangster film ever. But the best is Mark Wahlberg, who steals the show from his very first scene to his very last. People should definitely go check out this film. It's intense, and good, and 94% on rottentomatoes.com can't go wrong. Not as good as Goodfellas, but it has its own wit.

i saw this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it.
there are alot of good quotes in that movie...theres things i did not see coming in this flick.
that could just be me tho...i definitely recommend checking this movie out of the ones playing currently.

as for actors...i thought this was by far Leo's best performance...and yeah Mark Wahlberg does still the show..well kinda. (go see the movie to understand what i mean) and Matt Damon was good too.
as for Jack? Jack's Jack, hes usually very good and defintely lives up to that.

See the "rate the last movie blah blah blah" thread for review.

does anybody here watch movies in the theatre anymore?
just curious because people haven't posted their thoughts on the movie if they actually have gone out and watched it.

oh well.

I don't go to the movies as much as I used to. The Departed sounds cool, but doesn't strike me as the kind of movie that needs to be viewed at the cinema either, and I can happily wait for dvd release.

By the time i've saved up for my projector going to the movies will feel like slumming it :)

Nothing worth going to see. I mean, I'm sure the films out are great, but I can just save my money and wait for DVD release.

Bumpage, awesome film.

And go watch it at the cinema, the gun shots and soundtrack are extra-loud. ;)

watched it last night. very well directed. the ending kinda messed up everything.... i like the song by Dropkick Murphys, really nice.

i'm going to go see it before it goes out of theatres
