The Elder Scrolls V: 2010 Release?

Elder V will be Fallout 3 with swords which is oblivion with guns, thus V will be like Oblivion.... with more swords.
 
You played the console version didn't you?
It's times like these why I'm reminded why PC versions of many games are better. :smoking:

It's good to have a modding community to fix the mistakes devs often make these days.
The tradeoff though is all the frustration and headaches trying to get games like Oblivion to run properly without crashing every 10-15 minutes.

Francesco's or Oscuro's mod easily addressed the leveling issues I had with Oblivion. Well, not "easily", but it fixes them anyways.
The modding community is the only thing that really made it into a great game for me. Here's hoping it won't have to be that way next time around.
 
Also, what I don't like about Francescos or Oscuros Oblivion mods is that they add new enemies etc that don't make sense lorewise, I'd like for a removal of scaling mod that didn't add new enemies etc or only add new enemies that are lore-accurate.

Huh? What creatures don't make sense in the lore? Maybe some of the creatures in MMM (the slime creature, Beholden) but to the best of my knowledge, all the creatures added were quite agreeable in OOO and Francescos.
 
i hope there's a FO4, along the lines of this Deux Ex style.

Agreed. MMM is prorably what he's after, hell, the mod's main purpose is to add extra monsters, lore-friendly or not.
 
Well last version I played of OOO added a bunch of AMAZONS in a cave under the Imperial City, was funny though because they followed me out of the cave, into the imperial city, hilarity ensued.
 
I see your point but I don't think their really lore breaking. AFAIK, the amazons are a sect of Sanguine worshipers, which explains their...choice in armor.
