I don't believe in the end of the world on 2012. I just joke about it alot of the time.

particularily because alot of coiincidences happen revolving that number. All sorts of games that I play that can have that number range, it pops up all the time. I was playing final fantasy in the past... 2012 was coming up as a characters damage a rediculous amount. Its just one of those things that feels weird, like deja vu every single time it happens.

Same thing with the number 420. It comes up for me at least 5 times a week.
 
Just don't piss off Chuck Norris, we'll be fine.
 
i certainly hope it's within the years where man has nothing else left to do (around 300-500 years) or when man realizes their true future.

Man will always have something to do. Like fight the next person who wants to take over the world. Except when I take over the world no one will stand a chance and I'll oppress everyone worse than the combine. Then everyone will kill themselves from my reign of depression. The End.
 
Nah, not for a while. I just hope that it won't happen in my lifetime.

Of course, it's the Combine that will kill us.

Nah, humanity wont end in 2012 or 100 years. We have a solution for everything. Pollution won't kill us Ex: Caveman + 2006 = xP. And then again time is irrelevant..... . Lungs shall evolve and not in the Darwin BS.
 
Personally I'm more worried about the threat from the Goa'uld. :| :dozey: :|

Completely unfunny jokes aside, I think that it'll either never happen, or that somehow we, being human, will find some idiotic way to destroy ourselves

I'm just curious (and hopeful) about what happens after death.
 
I'm gonna bet on a giant asteroid or comet hits, killing us all just like the dinosaurs.
 
How do you know we haven't already killed ourselves and we aren't just the computer simulations of an incredibly technologically advanced alien race trying to discover how we killed ourselves by starting from the beginning of time and physically simulating everything since then? Better still, we could have never physically existed. We could just be AI. How would we know the difference? What if... :rolling: ... I should probably go to sleep.

It'll happen eventually, it's nearly inevitable. Just hopefully not in my lifetime... well maybe not... it would be kinda cool to be one of those who survive.

I bet the end of the world becomes announced, society plunges into chaos and true lunacy, then it turns out being a hoax.
 
It could be like the Simpsons episode where they expect the meteor to kill them all. Then, when it finally passes through the atmosphere it's only the size of a chihuahua's head.
 
I vote soon..it just seems like it will happen.

And if it happens in 2012, that would be nice. That would mean I'm 26, and I would be hitting my quarter life crisis.

Well 2012 is the end of the Mayan calender..and the calender was never wrong....I believe 2012 is the year to look out for...The Mayan believe in that year, technology will turn on humans destroying mankind...Like a nuclear war.
 
We will kill ourselves off... We'll peobably do something really stupid and just wipe everyone out.
Or nature will take its course and we'll eventually become extinct for what ever reason and something else will replace us.
I could see us lasting for a VERY long time though. We can survive lots of different climates and situations if we really want to. If anything bad happens, like an ice age, it'll be survival of the short recoil. :P
 
In 2012, short recoil will be the lone survivor of a nuclear war that wipes out the rest of humanity... He will be forced to mate with cockroaches to create a new species that eats radioactive waste and shits pure testosterone.
 
After the Apocalypse, there will be three-headed cockroaches and Cher.
