Are just some examples of our own demise. Even within our own ranks, constant uncertainty abounds without limits. Delays, consoles, newbs, crappy gameplay, all factors continuing to eat at our very cores of what brought gamers together in the first place. The most recient to mention is the abondoning of hl2 by us. Also doom3 is nothing more than hope at this very point.
Thats all we have at this point. When a game like counter-strike is the most popular and the only objective is to get the most kills and talk the biggest shit, it is certain we are digging our own grave at this point.
I shouldnt even have to mention the insanity of condition zero at this point. If you are not aware it's easy to classify it as pure outrage/pandemonium. In development for 3-4 years or so, and it was finnaly released it was nothing more than pod bots with a different splash screen. It's a shame for so much potentional to be wasted.
Currently, our only hope is the new unreal 3.0 engine. It shows great promice for our furture. Half-life 2 is nothing more than a figment of what was to be. Doom III, well I can't say much at this point due to both ID and Valve not going public with ANY new information. At least we will go down fighting to the last man.

We have ups and downs. Right now the PC gaming world is about as bad as it's going to get. Oh a Call of Duty expansion announced. HOW PREDICTABLY INANE!!!This is the sort of crap we've had to put with in the void between the next gen stuff.

HL2, Doom3 and Stalker are the next big hope to inject some innovation, orginality and EXCITEMENT back into the whole schamozzle.

Half-life 2 is nothing more than a figment of what was to be. Doom III, well I can't say much at this point due to both ID and Valve not going public with ANY new information.

I'm not one to keep my hopes up....but I've seen enough to know you'll retract your HL2 and Doom3 statements. I've talked enough with valve coders to see that got all of the MODing basics covered. Even if they royally screw up HL2, I know it is possible to make a kick-ass mod without too much difficulty.

So, the game’s release date has been pushed forward. So, we haven’t seen screen shots or new info. Put 2 and 2 together, and it looks like both Doom 3 and HL2 have some serious stuff in store that we don’t know about. I’m sure we’ll all know when E3 comes around.
