Mine was actually tickle me emo on the sesame street website (it was about 1997 then). My first real game was the first Duke Nukem on Windows 95. Thinking about it brings back joyful memories. I was only 4 or 3 at the time and I never got past the fourth level.

Super Mario Bros. on the NES. \o/

Can't get any more cliched than that. :p

This is like thread number 1 billion of this.

The first game I played was the original Legend of Zelda on the NES. The first PC game I ever played as Lode Runner for PowerMac. (Technically not a PC game)

I search like a hundred times and could not find a single thread. Could you please maybe give me a link to one of these threads ?

The first game I ever played was Astrosmash for the Intellivision round about 1979/1980 maybe. Then I graduated to text based adventure games on the Apple IIe.

I don't know. I was probably two at the time. Earliest one I remember is Wolfenstein 3D.

First game I ever remember playing was Sonic on the Genesis and Duck Hunt on the NES, but I didn't own either of them... first games I ever played at home were on the PC on an old win 3.1 machine, wolfenstein 3d (and spear of destiny etc), dark forces, reader rabbit, x-com ufo defense, math blaster...

Probably Doom or Doom 2 (not sure which one).
Then Duke Nukem 3d.

Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Master System, it also included Alex Kidd in Miracle World. My First PC game was Worms Armageddon.

Pong, be about '88. It was like the Atari Pong console, but it came with a light gun too. Probably my first. I remember playing on a SMS in the late 80's, & on ye old BBC micro. Space Invaders or something like it.

Vector Man for the Sega Genesis.

Holy shit, memories.

Maybe Lode Runner, Pac-Man, Battlezone or Marble Madness. Don't really remember which game I played first when I was that young.

like
super mario bros or tonka trucks or something
first online game was starcraft.

first game i ever played online was Age of Empires, and then LOTS of starcraft

On my family's pc back in 93.... Wolfenstein 3d.

Made me instantly love FPS games.

Shortly after I would get the demo for Doom and play it nonstop.

I first played Wolf 3D as well. my brother hogged it so I only got to play for a few minutes. after that it was gold old Doom.

Wolfenstein 3D marfugga.
I remember having a turn of it after watching my Father and uncle play it. I was probably around four years old and it scared the crap out of me.

Hmm, I think it was "It came from the Desert", a scary game about giant ants invading a desert town. It was good fun.
