At the end of Half-Life 3 I want to see some giant badass boss comes up to finish off Gordon. Then the G-Man walks up and is like, "I wish it hadn't come to this, Jeeves" and then he drops the briefcase and pulls out two ub3r uzis out of his jacket and empties them into the baddy, then throws them aside and goes wire-fu all over the baddy like Agent Smith or something.

Wow, I think it's time for bed.

enough kiddies have already been let loose on this game and hideously misunderstood it to the dispair of original fans.

they are not knowing some of them of the original some of them never mind played it. and yet then they still come here after playing hl2 saying how great it was , how they worship the combine, how they loved it so much and show complete lack of understanding of what the game and its original roots were about. and lack of respect to older fans.

and then hurridly dictate how the stroyline should proceed in the fashions of thier understanding and what they believe to be built on to it like thier misconceptions of the "seven hour war".

god help all us fans if valve contnues to bend from story in favour of selling to the masses becasue i mean if they do what the hell will hl3 becaome?

this is just another wave of kiddies who have hit the game , i hope valve doesnt turn it anymore thier way

I want to fight against, or along side the gman at the end of the game. If I'm fighting with him, his AI better be EXTREMELY good (he must NEVER annoy me) and he must be EXTREMELY efficient (some type of automatic weapon where he kills in 3 shot bursts, 2 in the chest 1 in the head). If it's against him, it must be in the greatest showdown room ever, and he must be tough. The average person MUST die atleast 5 times before killing him. No standard boss pattern, just all out fight.

i assume he meant that, these wave of younger players havent even played HL at all, and come here with theories not knowing half of the plot so far. Or even played HL2, and just got it for CS : S, i know a few people who have done this...its sad tbh.

I agree with him though. And fighting with/against the G-man would be way cool. Though that whole timestopping/slow-teleport/whatever ability would kind of make any fight rather one sided.

Who's to say that the gman has those powers given to him, and he isn't the pawn of someone else? He might just be a normal guy.

Hmm, good point. But my point still stands, mostly. The only reason he would lose the ability is if he has a falling out with his boss. Which would be very interesting.

Or if they limit him somehow. I'd think, though, that as long as he's doing what they want him to, he can use it as necessary.
