The Game is Called "Pretend Valve Never Sent the Delay Email"

What if Shack news never got that email. And we, today on September 25th still had heard nothing from Valve. WOuld you guys still be skeptical about it coming out in 5 days!? Or would you have pretty much lost hope, after no gold announcement? 5 days to release, and still no definate answer from Valve, where would your thoughts be on the situation? Release, or no Release?

If there was no delay news i would have said 30th was the day.

What i am wondering about now is what will actually happen on the rock on the 30th? Will ati show up and give a demo, show the same stuff again. or just give out lollies and say "suck on this"??

I think you missed the point of the Thread DJ. Ok, forget 5 days. Were now 1 day away from release and no one has heard anything from Valve. Supposedly cuz their mail servers are down. Are you still gonna go to the store tomorrow morning to get your copy. I would go, but with low hopes...

1 day before there would be either loads of ppl posting about friends who work in pc shops which either:
a. have a load of mysterious boxes they can open tomtorow/allread seen hl2 boxes.
b. have nothing at all.

that's what i would base my opinion on.
