aight, so Im just sitting here, sipping my bottle of coke, thoughtfully gazing at my computer screen which returns a soft blue light to my face in this dark room in the back of....... where was I)
so Im just sitting here and thinking "waiting for half life 2 is a cycle, and I am where I was when it was first announced."
ahem at this point i will assure you i am not on drugs. At one point hl2 was something I thought about every hour of the day. My interest escelated to a point where any new media (as scarce as it was) was the high-point of my day, and i could sleep peacfully those nights. At the next phase I was more educated about halflife2 and its features. Information and life flowed through these forums like a river and happy memories were formed (if you havent clued in by now, this is not meant to be taken very seriously .) At this point the oh so antisipated release date of sept 30 (that glorious day) neared, but all was not well at halflifetwodotnetsforumsville. Rumors broke out that the game would be delayed! a black spot of dread developed on the hearts of the villagers (forum goers) and some were even devoured by there hatred for valve. the day came. people cried and some were so personally harmed by such an act of cruelty that they couldnt even cry.
At this point I realize I didnt make this thread to tell a story (I just get into these things sometimes). after the phase I just described which from now on I will refer to as the black phase, the life of the forums began to slow down gradually. This brings us to the point at which I am now.
I am at the beginning again. I dont rememeber clearly all the features I was so stoked about but my interest is slowly rising again.
Now with all cycles there are parallel events of course so Im expecting new media, more news, and the general morale to increase
*narators voice: and so ended the ranting of famasman, and the hl2 community rejoiced
edit: please ignore spelling mistakes and such as I was too lazy to go over it.
