The HL2 storyline leak *No spoilers*

Ok, so VALVE leaked out the storyline. Someone in a CS:S game just spammed the "supposed" ending. :flame: I'm worred like hell.
It sounds legit.

Anyways, VALVE said the script was impossible to make out, and thus it was nothing to worry about. What I ask is
1) Has anyone here actually read the script, is what VALVE said true?

That's all I wanted to know, I'm really getting bothered by this now. The problem is..I've heard the same spoiler ending twice. If it is true...well...I dunno...cause the spoiler ending sounded pretty reasonable/legit..but I won't go into any details.

Most of the stuff from the leaked script i've seen posted on forums seems to consistent with what's in the leak. It's most likely all true.

Fortunately for me, I've not been spoilerised that far yet. Beta spoilers ruined a few surprises, but I've yet to come anywhere near the script spoilers...

I have read the script, i wouldnt say its 'impossible' to make out, but its pretty hard to learn anything of much itnerest when it isnt in order, although you can see it fit together.

People who stay stuff like what mr fusion posted are simply taking things for granted, seeing what oen character has said, misinterpreted it and thought "OO look that must be true!" without understanding what is meant by what is said.

that spoiler is FALSE fusion, so you havnt been spoiled. Depends what you have heard about the ending though, i doubt theres to much to spoil.

knowing the ending will hurt the story a bit, yes, but dont fret. The gameplay is what its all about, and there is still so much you dont know. You are still going to enjoy HL2 more than any other game, spoilers or not.

personally i think i read a spoiler on hl2fallout. It didnt really make sense though, so i try not to think aboiut it.

I haven't found any spoilers either (Thankfully). I'm still trying to keep the general storyline out of my line of sight till I play the game through.

I think anyone who even posts spoilers on this or any other site is a Doom 3 fanboy, or a sadist of some sort.

I've read one potential spoiler, it was either here or on the Steam forums, I forget which. It was about what happens in the room at the end of the 2k4 e3 vid.

Dunno how legit it is but it's a bummer to know what;s gonna happen before you play it, might take a short hiatus from the forums, with the info in the preloads it becomes more and more likely some asshat will spam a spoiler in a random thread.

Hope you're right Samon, cause I heard audio files in the leak that made it sound otherwise.
But that doesn't mean it couldn't just be one characters take on a situation. Like a story being told from different perspectives has different approaches and biases. Or miscommunication.

Hoping that's the case with everything I've heard so far.
