The Hole in the Bucket

hey i think i read this idea in a thread somehwere, if you made a bucket and filled it with water, then shot a hole in it, would the water flow out?

Does HL2 even have 'proper' bullet holes (holes which you can see through, not just decals)? I don't think it does, but I sure hope I am wrong.

It doesnt look like it. For instance the ant lion vid with the smelly ball. The autoguns are shooting and at some points they hit the metal frame of the door. You see a decal appear on the opposite side but i dont think it was a real hole. I could be wrong though

They could update it, so there are actually bulletholes. They still have a lot of work to do on HL2, does anyone know if you will be able to hold more than one gun in a class (i.e. shotgun and mp5k or pistol and magnum)?
