What I've done, and what deathseeker did are VERY different; putting a picture in a "post your pic" thread is just participating in the forum; creating a whole thread dedicated to your own pictures (alledgedly) and trying to gain other female pictures/money is waaaaay different.
And just stupid, I might add. Any real girl who did that would deserve what she got, no real girl with half a brain would do something that stupid.
However, the majority of the forum didnt seem to notice this- thinking with the wrong head I suppose.

Actually, he said the start was to see how many replies he could get and for laughter value. Then when he was shocked at the overwhelming number of replies, he decided to ask for some money for a video card. lol.

He also tried to go on other forums and ask "for one dollar" from each but do it at so many that he made a ton of money, but no one would give him money, thankfully. He is a member of the Team X-Box Forums.

Someone posted pictures of a girl onth e forum, pretending to be that girl. He made the thread "Post your pictures: Ladies only". The thread basically went nuclear with everyone posting. The thread starter posted more pictures, and it just took on a life of its own. There was an incident with someone paying money to see a little more, and after that it was shut down completely.

The girl in the pictures looked about 14 to me, but with lots of makeup...

Matt (Deathseeker) told me that the guy who gave him the money posted on the forum that it was him, and to not to do any legal stuff as he didn't want to be involved and it was fine. Then he got accused of being Deathseeker trying to get out of it and then got banned and his stuff deleted.

Yes. We both posted from school at one time. At home, he uses a dial-up but I use Sattelite broadband so that made the distinction, from other posts.

I'm vaguely annoyed that I didn't get involved- I want a reputation a bit more advanced than "angsty groupy", and a humiliation at the hands of a confidence (chortle) trickster would've done fine. Bah.

All forums have some degree of scary men-women: Sven Co-op's Sabrina will go down in history, but the funny part was how the vast majority of members knew "she" was a man from the start I don't think I'd ever really encountered an incident where people literally paid money to one of them though...
