Hey guys its me BMAirmage. Recently I have played a steam game the killing floor at my friends house and to my surprise I found it immensly enjoyable. The graphics are good, the gameplay well rounded, and the weapons masterfully crafted. The Killing floor should be a must have for all zombie loving gamers. Overall I give it a 9.5 out of 10 for its outstanding gameplay and performance. Hopefully one day ill get it. This game is awesome!

For a moment there I thought Tripwire had started using ad-bots. But your previous posts look legit so I'll assume you're human.

Holy crap. I thought the same thing -> Ad bot.

But yeah, Killing Floor (no the) is a pretty sweet game. I would give it a 8.5 or 9.

It was quite a bit of fun at first, then I suddenly got bored. Maybe is was the lack of maps...I guess I should give the customs a go.

It was fun. Like L4D thou it got repetitive. Game needs a single player story to it to give it some depth.

Yes, I think the killing floor is better than left 4 dead because in left 4 dead, you do the same repetitive missions for the same goal ( a "safe room" ) and in the killing floor you have to survive countless waves of zombies. ( kinda similar to gears 2's horde ) Ill probably wait till theres a special on the killing floor to buy it.

Let's examine your post.

Fair enough.

in the killing floor you have to survive countless waves of zombies

Wait what? That sounds awfully repetitive to me.

I have not played Killing Floor, but I am really surprised at it's popularity. Every time I look at the gameplay it looks extremely boring.

I started playing Killing Floor about 2 weeks ago when I got it as a gift. While it is very repetitive, I find I very much enjoy playing it. I play as a pure healer, meaning I don't fight at all. I just chase after everyone trying to jab needles into their backside while pulling off one-liners with a phony British accent.

Sadly, over the past several days, I have begun to see the ugly side of the game. It would appear that a great deal of players have had the game since it was released & so are now bored of it & have thus moved onto other games, which leaves the remaining 95% of those still playing it, to have fallen into the immature & childish gamer category. No one wants to work as a team. It's every man or woman for themselves & screw anyone that gets in their way. Just tonight I was playing & several players kept bitching that I was getting in the way of their shots. as it was, I was kneeling as I chased after everyone so they could still shoot. So I stopped healing a few of the whiners & only healed those that didn't complain. Bet you can't guess what happened next? The whiners all got mad that I let them die. When everyone is running around & not sticking together as a team, I have to chase them down which means that I am bound to get in the way of their or others shots from time to time.

Anyways, does anyone here play it?

I play pretty much every day & I can be found under the nicname : MRG_Corpsman.

They are holding a mapping contest so new maps will be ready soon

I've seen lots of Steam friends playing Killing Floor, although I'm not sure myself if this game is worth my time and money, seeing as I have so many other games to finish.

Played it on my friends laptop. L4D was much better imo. Killing Floor = major snorefest

I've been playing it a lot in the past week in order to write a review for HL2.net on it. It's a good game, enjoyable, very different from L4D in almost every way besides the basic idea of killing zombies, and I have to say I love the feel of it all.
