Well FANboz's it seems that HL2 and CSCZ will FLOP

Bringing out HL2 in april with a OLD Engine... nobody will bought it. Sooo many fecking great other games out then. Also the faked ragdoll animation scripted shit is something I will not miss.

Scripted ragdoll sequences? Where did you hear that? The entire ragdoll engine is havok 2, see it in max payne 2, fool.

Yeah, CSCZ might flop, true. But we'll see how wrong you were about HL2 when it finally is released!

And as a sidenote, I've never understand why some people like to annoy others on purpose... I mean, where's the fun in that? These trolls really must lack something in their lives to do things like this to have some fun.

EDIT: With the scripted ragdoll thingy could he mean the one in Barricade, where Gordon throws the grenade at those two combines and the other flies through the air and bounces off the car. I always thought that was a bit too "WOW" to be just an accident. I haven't touched the "beta" though, so I wouldn't know. Just guessing.

Yes brian its the Doom3 engine but as crabcakes66 stated, so it can run online without the needs for expensive servers to handle the power of 64 players in one level and with that graphics excitment....

An old engine? Source is just as cutting edge as anything being produced the competition. It's just now they're not going to beat the competition the punch, which is rather unfortunate, but it doesn't suddenly make their technology "old".

Quake 4 is supposed to be more like Quake 2, which had a storyline pretty similar to Doom's. I wish id would come up with some more interesting concepts.
