How was Stalingrad his last battle if he fought in Kursk? Also, why is a General riding a horse by himself on the front lines and carrying satchel charges? IIRC the Soviet army wasn't big on independent actions, and Generals usually weren't used for suicide missions.

I'm not sure. I think it may be a misprint on the part of the writer.

Also, the guy was our general. But he was a private in the red army. :p
